I Wouldn't Have Missed It For The World...

I keep telling myself that I will write in my journal. However, another day comes and goes and I still haven't. So I decided to create a blog instead. I am approaching the end of my Sophomore year of college and I'm getting a little sentimental. I only have two weeks left until I head home. It will be nice to be done with classes and assignments but I'm going to miss my friends and roommates. I have gotten quite fond of them. Each and every one of them have impacted my life in ways I don't think they even understand. We have embarked on so many new adventures together. The Pudding Dance, Country Swing Dancing, Rodeos, Concerts, Football Games, Hockey Games, AGGIE Basketball Games, and the list goes on but I will stop there.

Posing outside the Keith Urban concert!

Jaimie, Katie, me, Jennie, Ali, & Shay
All of the roommates before the Homecoming Game! Go Aggies!

Jaimie- was with us up until a couple weeks ago but then she decided to move out. She was our FHE "Mom" and though things didn't end extremely well with her I'm still grateful for the friendship we had.
Katie- better known as my other half has been there for me more times then I can count. We have been friends since high school and it has been a blast living with her. She is the person I am most comfortable being myself around. She gets me like no one else does.
Jennie- soon to be Mrs. Newbold always lights up the room. She has a huge smile and a huge heart. Teaching us the Hoedown Throw Down has to be in my top ten favorite memories from this year.
Ali- though we appeared to be extremely different, as the year went on I realized we are actually a lot alike. She was really understanding and helped me the most when I broke my arm. She was always there when I needed her and I am truly grateful.
Shay- We probably butted heads the most and got in more arguments then I can count. She put me in my place time and time again. But at the end of the day we were able to put our differences behind us and just be friends. We spend many nights just talking for hours about nothing, but I enjoyed myself all the same.

And then there is Kassie! She is one of my very best friends and I don't know what I would do without her. We have been friends since our first day of college nearly two years ago. She is my country dancing buddy/Lucky underwear twin :) I always seem to go to her when I'm struggling and she helps me look past everything and stay positive. She also has an uncanny way of knowing exactly what I am thinking without me even saying a word.

This year has been full of trials and struggles. I have had Swine Flu, a broken arm, and my heart has been broken countless times by not only boyfriends but dear friends as well. There has been drama and tears. There have been times I have wanted to give up. But through all the heartache and pain there has been some amazing times. Times that make the pain bearable, and I wouldn't have miss it for the world...
